Jay Z is reportedly recording songs that would address his alleged crack in his eight-year marriage to Beyonce, Us weekly reports.
A source tells the outlet that, “Jay is working on an album telling his side of things.”
After Beyonce’s new album, “Lemonade” released on April 23, insinuated that [Jay Z] cheated on her with “Becky with the good hair,” it’s only fair to hear Jay Z’s side of the story.
However Beyonce’s forther manager and father, Matthew Knowles said the lyrics weren’t about her nor her marriage. “People want to make it about her,” Mathew told Us mag. “Maybe she dug deep and made it about something we all could relate to.”
But insiders say the “Sorry” singer’s words speak her truth. “The album says it all,” notes a source close to the couple. “It explains how she and Jay got through their problems. The good outweighed the bad, so she gave him a second chance.”
As we earlier reported, the parents of 4-year-old Blue nearly split back in 2014 after the infamous elevatorgate incident between Jay Z and Solange. At the time, sources claimed Solange flipped because the rapper had been flirting with one of his alleged mistress, designer Rachel Roy. (Roy has denied any wrongdoing.)
A source close to the couple say Beyoncé contemplated divorce at the time but now the pair are “better than ever.”
