D’banj’s official producer, Divine Austins popularly called Deevee has accused Nigerian rapper, Olamide of stealing song ideas from DB Records.
The producer is alleging that Olamide’s single ‘Don’t stop’, which is contained on his 5th studio album “Eyan Mayweather”, was jacked from D’banj’s song ‘Shake it’.
Deevee wrote about an hour ago: “With due respect Olamide, have you run out of ideas? Everytime you come to our zones you always gotta steal some idea. I won’t let this fly.”
Many believe the young producer is speaking Dbanj’s mind, although the pop giant himself has stayed quiet.
Deevee alleges it’s is not the first time Olamide has stolen concepts from Dbanj and his crew. He also claims that Olamide stole the ‘Baddest Guy Ever Liveth‘ slang from them as well as other slangs and lines like ‘Durosoke‘, ‘Hello how are you’.
Efforts to reach Olamide on this accusation has not been successful at the time of this report, as the singer was this afternoon on a flight to Port Harcourt.
In 2013, D’banj was in talks with Olamide to sign the rapper to his then-fledgling DB Records, the duo travelled down to Atalanta together, and held extensive conversations. But the deal fell through, with the singer later confirming that he did not sign Olamide.
