MC Galaxy has recorded the remix of his smash hit single ‘Sekem’ with Swizz Beatz.
The Nigerian performing artistes broke into the scene in 2013 with his efforts on ‘Nek Unek’. He has since spawned other hits including ‘Sekem’, which caught the fancy of international producer Swizz Beatz.
The duo recently hit the studio in New York, and they have put together the remix of the song. Clips from the session have been shared on social media, which shows both musicians having a fun studio session.
According to the singer, Jay Z sent in a bottle of cognac for the special occasion.
Earlier in the year, Swizz Beatz had indicated his love for the song, and had shared clips of himself dancing to the music. The forthcoming remix is a culmination of that love.
In April 2015, MC Galaxy released his debut album “Breakthrough”, and it was reviewed by Pulse Music as “the debut effort of a fledgling singer, and it sounds just as it should. Raw, indecisive and sometimes repetitive, but it can also be lovely and dance-worthy, sending sparks of happiness and good chemicals racing through you.”
The singer recently released the visuals to the remix of his party tune ‘Gogaga’ featuring Ghana’s dancehall act, Stonebwoy and fellow Nigerian stars Cynthia Morgan and DJ Jimmy Jatt.
