Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, has embraced another arrangement of booking activity guilty parties instead of seizing their vehicles.
The new framework which commenced last Friday Sept. eighteenth, will have LASTMA issuing tickets to defaulters and permitting them to run with their vehicles however the defaulters will be approached to pay a punishment for the offense inside of a stipulated time which will be expressed on the ticket issued. Inability to pay up will sum to capture of such defaulter at their homes.
