HKN star Davido has attained a new first in his successful music career.
The pop star is the first Nigerian to get one million followers on Instagram- the photo and video-sharing social network.
Davido announced this milestone a few minutes ago. “Big thank you to all my Followers and Fans around the world #OboBaddestFans you’re the realest you’re the best ❤ 1m 2M O.B.O” he wrote on Instagram. The 22 year old star has a large presence on social media with 1.38 million followers on Twitter.
Davido’s arch-rival Wizkid has 940,000 followers on Instagram, while Don Jazzy has 738,000 followers.
After several postponements Davido will be releasing his second album ‘Baddest‘ in September, 2015. The album was earlier scheduled to be released on June 8, 2015 but it was postponed till August 10, 2015 and once again it’s been moved.
‘Baddest’, Davido’s sophomore album contains a number of stars guesting on it, including embattled US rapper, Meek Mill and R&B singer Trey Songz.
