She’s not joking guys! Music star Selena Gomez has set a new record with a 100million followers on Sunday, September 25, 2016.
The ‘Revival‘ pop star sets a new record for the most amount of followers on any account on the social networking site.
On the app, Kim boasts of 83.5m followers, while Kylie commands 75.3m. Beyonce‘s Beyhives total 85.2m while Selena’s ex, Justin Bieber had about 78m followers before he deleted his account in August.
We are really surprised by Selena’s new feat as she has not been so active on the photo-sharing app.
Infact this is really impressive considering the ‘Kill em with kindness’ singer has not been active on social media for over 5 weeks. Serena is currently taking time off from the spotlight to deal with her lupus-induced anxiety and depression.
Meanwhile, a sweet snap of the star sipping from a bottle of Coke replaced hers and singer ex, Justin Bieber’s photo as the most liked on Instagram.
The 23-year-old pop star’s snap has now garnered 4.2 million likes as opposed to the 3.7 million likes her photo with Bieber got.
The cute snap shows Gomez sipping on a Coke, with the lyrics from one of her songs, “You’re the spark,” written on the wrap.
