Phyno is set to release his sophomore solo studio album “Playmaker P” in November.
The Nigerian rapper who released his debut “No Guts No Glory” in 2014 is looking to double his tally, by dropping his second studio album.
“Playmaker P” will be released in November, with work on the project almost concluded. It will feature hit song ‘Fada Fada’, along with ‘Connect’, and a number of bonus singles. No official artwork, and tracklist has been released.
This will officially be Phyno’s third time out, as the rapper released a joint album “2 Kings” with Olamide, in April 2015.
Phyno recently held a live concert in Houston which attracted a lot of his fans.
A sold out show it was, where the young and old gathered to watch the artist Phyno perform, energy in the atmosphere was high from the beginning, starting with female artist Emma Nyra as an opening act who performed several of her hit songs, including ‘’For my Matter’, ‘Elele’ and many more, eliciting great response from her home crowd as one of Houston’s brightest stars.
There was also a special appearance from one of Africa’s biggest producers, MasterKraft who is behind some of the biggest hits in the African music space.
It was quite a delight watching Masterkraft on the keyboard, joining Phyno on stage for a gospel medley that drove the crowd wild. Altogether, it was an unforgettable and remarkable show that gave the fans exactly what they wanted.
