UEFA have unveiled the official match ball for this season’s UEFA Champions League.
The Adidas Finale 15 was unveiled in Marseille, during the brand’s #BeTheDifference World Finals on Thursday, August 27.
The ball has already been used in the preliminary qualifying play-off rounds.
Wayne Rooney took one home yesterday, Wednesday, August 26 following his hattrick against Club Brugge in the second leg of the qualifiers.
“The ball continues to boast the traditional and world famous star panel design but with a twist – it features a reinterpretation of the elements contained on the city crest of Milan – the location for this year’s UEFA Champions League Final,” adidas said about the ball.
“The stars of the predominantly white ball come in striking tones of blue which carry a distinctive snake skin element. In addition these also feature design references to the colours of the EXPO – a Universal Exposition to be held in Milan this year.”
