This is coming as a surprise to us though. From the news we’ve just gathered about Popular Yoruba gospel singer, Tope Alabi, it’s okay to say that the Singer has had quite some rough times in her life, even when she was still a spinster.
Tope Alabi is said to have a secret love child (a child born out of wedlock) whose existence has recently been discovered.
According to reports, the gospel artiste had a child in her early twenties before she got married to her husband, who now is her manager, Soji Alabi. Her marriage to Soji is blessed with three children.
This revelation is said to be shrouded in utmost secrecy, as it is only known to the musician’s very close family members
“Unknown to many, Tope Alabi has a love child though the child is now adopted by her husband who also doubles as her manager,” as disclosed by a source.

After further investigations, it was revealed that Tope Alabi had her ‘secret child’ (who is now 20 years old), when she was just 24 years old and the father of the child rejected it.
Tope Alabi, who is now in her mid-forties, was a member of a Yoruba theater group as an aspiring actress when she met the father of the child.
“They didn’t even court for long before the news got out that she was pregnant and if I must say a lot of us who were close to her couldn’t believe the reports because she was known to be a very smart lady,” according to the source.
We also gathered that the Singer met her husband, who is now her manager, who was then a studio engineer, when she went for one of her jingle recordings in Ikeja some few years after her abandoned man saga.
