Maybach Music rapper Wale, who is of Nigerian heritage, has said he is moving back to the land of his parents, Nigeria.

He said this today on Thursday, February 19, 2015, on his Twitter account. “I’m movin to Nigeria man” read his brief tweet.

Well, that;s interesting. The award winning act should get ready for some culture shock when he moves back to Naija.

Wale, whose album The Album About Nothing is scheduled to drop on March 31, 2015, should expect these five things when he moves back to Nigeria.

  1. Slow Internet – The Internet in Yankee is fast and all, but in Naija, our Internet speed is a test in patience. He might want Rick Ross to upload his high definition videos for him in America, than do it in Nigeria.

  2. Constant use of generator – Wale will have to get use the annoying hum of generators. Constant power supply is not an issue from where he is coming from, but electricity is still one of our struggles over here. He better come to Naija with some customized Beats By Dre headphones.

  3. Sort agbero and police – Celebrities get taxed a lot in Nigeria by both touts and police men. Wale will not be an exception to the rule. As a matter of fact he will be expected to dole out dollars since he is a member of M-M-M-Maybach Music.

  4. Get familiar with Eko Hotel – Once Wale touches down on Murtala Airport, Wale he should wake up to the fact that Nigerian artistes don’t tour. There are no nationwide tours here. At best he has to stick with the ever trusty indoors of Eko Hotel for any show he wants to have.

  5. Compose only club songs – Brother Wale in these parts we don’t have the time and patience for artsy songs. Your urban poetry songs won’t work here. We like are songs heavy and loud. So please Wale, when you move back more of ‘Clappers‘, and less of ‘Bad‘.
