Nigerian musician, Seun Kuti has revealed his desire to interview the All Progressives Congress’ presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari.
The Afro Beat singer took to his Facebook account to state that he wish to have the chance to interview Muhammadu Buhari like D’banj did with President Goodluck Jonathan four years ago.
“Abeg since president Jonathan debated with dbanj in 2011 , I jealous make I no lie. Buhari please debate with me now since u have declined with Jonathan. I promise to ask u tougher questions than dbanj and u won’t need to stroke my ego by calling me the future of Africa. Loooool. I go die here oooo,” Seun Kuti writes on Facebook.
D’banj in 2011, had an interview with Goodluck Jonthan while he was campaigning to be the elected as the President of Nigeria.
Seun Kuti would have many questions if given the chance to interview the APC presidential candidate.
In a September 2014 Instagram post, son of the late Afro Beat Legend, Fela accused Muhammadu Buhari of imprisoning his father for almost two years.
“He had been imprisoned by the evil and mean usurper and human rights abuser, Mohammad Buhari!,” part of the post with a throw back photo of Fela reads.
The photo was taken in 1986, after another former Head of State, General Ibrahim Babangida released Fela from the prison where Buhari had sent the legendary musician for a 20-month jail term for allegedly smuggling currencies into the country.
