On Sunday November 23, 2014 the America Music Awards was held at the Nokia Centre in Los Angeles. Dencia, the Cameroonian artist who has a skin care line called Whitenicious arrived at the event and popular entertainment station E! Online mistook the African who stepped out in blonde hair as American rapper and singer Nicki Minaj!
If this mistake had occurred last year it would have been understandable, especially with the blonde weave, however Nicki Minaj has openly given up on the wig stage of her life as she has decided to wear her natural black hair from now on.
This is not the first time Dencia will be mistaken for Nicki Minaj, the first time was at the 2014 Grammys at The Staples Center in Los Angeles. It almost seems like Dencia’s goal is to be seen as the African Nicki Minaj.
