Ace comedian, Julius Agwu, says he has been getting calls to join secret calls to aid his political ambition.
According a special reports carried by CKN News, ace comedian Julius Agwu, who declared his intention to run for the governorship position in Rivers State, he has been inundated with propositions to join different secret cults if he hopes to realise his ambition of becoming governor of the oil rich state.
The Ikwerre, Rivers State born rib cracker who, few weeks ago, signified his intention to take over from Governor Rotimi Amaechi, while speaking on a TV programme over the weekend, said he was shocked that such things existed in the political terrain of the country, intimating that though his colleague, Okey Bakassi, who once contested the House of Assembly seat in Imo State, told him such existed, he never believed until he declared his political ambition and since then, he has been getting invitations to ‘belong’ so as to realise his dreams.
Julius said he has received several calls from people who asked him to bring his pictures and that of his opponents so that they can manufacture things that will make him successful at the poll.
Though he vowed never to engage in such diabolic means in his urge to govern his people, he narrated:
I am damn serious about this journey. I used my last show in Abuja to declare my intention and there is no going back on this.
