Kingsley Chinweike Okonkwo aka Kcee, need no introduction to the lovers of good Nigerian music. This week, the Limpopo King,was the co-host on MTV Base’ Official Naija Top Ten with MTV VJ Ehiz.
During the freestyle session the entertainer explained that he wasn’t a rapper, he also gushed about how he now lives in a palace and has a fat wallet. “I have a fat wallet and now live in a palace” he said. The Limpopo hit maker couldn’t help but be thankful for how far he has come in his music career.
Kcee whose song moved from number 10 to number 8 spot on this week’s MTV Offical Naija Top Ten, brought in a mix of reggae and dance-hall to the show, he kept shouting ‘shaba’ to complete his freestyle session.
The popular saying of the Anambra State music star has been how he had foreseen his greatness, even as a child.
“I had always known I will hit it big someday. I already had that determination since I started singing, but honestly Limpopo was a divine song from God.”
Then on his fashion sense, he said, “Fashion is in my blood. Sometimes, I don’t waste time standing in front of the mirror. If I open my wardrobe, I know what to put on. One thing I don’t joke with is my stud earring, I don’t have any particular reason but I can’t be caught dead without my studs.”
