The fashion trend in most churches in Nigeria for ladies is wearing mini-skirts to church and some pastors are no longer comfortable with this.
Pastor Paul Adefarasin of House On The Rock has called an end to this trend in his church and he meant business when he banned it.
He said that a lot of ladies were doing the seducing act and even distracting members when they come to church with attire.
In his sermon, he said : “I will assume that the members that do this, are probably new or uninformed ones…but we don’t allow mini-skirts in this church.
“If you must wear something short, make sure it covers your knees. Otherwise, an usher might need to come and complete your dressing.”
When he asked for a witness, a large portion of the congregation shouted a resounding “yes”. This means that the church accepts the ban
His female choir members are banned from wearing high-heeled shoes to minister.
