The alleged kidnappers of President Jonathan’s uncle, Nitabai Inengite who was kidnapped on the 23rd of February, 2014 have been nabbed and were yesterday paraded in Abuja by the Department of State Services, DSS.
A University of Jos 400L student, Magnus Jonah, 30, who confessed to have led the team who successfully kidnapped the man confessed the long ASUU strike drove him into the illicit act.
Others who were also arrested were 29-year old Tammy Tamarapreye, who denied his involvement in the crime, but admitted his black Golf car was used to carry out the operation. Likewise Felix Onuoha, the 48-year old herbalist who fortified them for the operation, said he only made charms for them to be successful at it. Three other persons were also arrested in connection to the crime.
Jonah who led the gang also admitted he has been studying the victim long before the operation was carried out.
